Glass Fibre Laminating Resin. Use with glass fibre mat or cloth for permanent repairs or for reinforcing GRP, metal, wood, and masonry. The easy mix liquid hardener included provides a maximum reactive resin system. Surfaces must be dry, clean, free of oil or paint and sanded to provide a good mechanical key. Apply a coat of resin mixed with the hardener(catalyst) and place glass fibre in position. Using a stippling action wet out with more resin. Several layers can be applied at one time, ensure any trapped air is stippled out of the laminate. The hardening time depends on the thickness and ambient temperature. At 15°c to 20°c most laminates should be cured after 24 hours, although the laminate will feel hard before this time.
